Offer description
- development of technologically complex FinTech applications used in an international environment for processing investment funds, financial transactions, and related processes
- work on modernization and further development of key systems using Java, Spring Boot, REST API, integration technologies, and a modern DevOps environment
- involvement in the entire application lifecycle from technical design and implementation, through automated testing and CI/CD, to deployment and support of the production environment
- development and implementation of backend applications and integration components, primarily in the Java and Spring technology stack
- integration and maintenance of developed solutions within the DevOps and CI/CD toolchain and related infrastructure
- creation and execution of unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests
- ensuring source code quality through automated testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD processes
- creation and updating of functional and technical application documentation
- analysis and resolution of technical problems and production incidents
- rotational on-call support for the production environment in a 24/6 mode, at most once every 5 weeks (after a 9-month ramp-up)
- active collaboration within an international development team in Prague and abroad
- independent resolution of assigned development tasks with minimal need for support
- agile collaboration on development planning and execution using Scrum and Kanban principles
- collaboration takes place in a hybrid mode with at least 2 days per week in the Prague offices
Requirements
- at least 4 years of commercial experience with software application development, primarily in a Java environment
- advanced practical experience with Java and Spring in backend application development
- practical experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL
- a high degree of independence, analytical thinking, and the ability to solve technical problems in a structured manner
- active knowledge of English enabling daily communication in an international team B2+
- Advanced practical experience with:
- Java and Spring technologies, especially Spring Boot and Spring Components
- backend enterprise application development and REST API
- Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL
- unit testing and automated testing
- Experience with:
- at least some Java enterprise and integration technologies, e.g., JPA, JMS, Apache Camel, EJB, MDB, JAXB, or JSON
- CI/CD and development toolchain, e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, or Artifactory
- Linux environment, including working with Bash or KSH
- agile development and Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- technical and system analysis, possibly UML
- Advantageous:
- experience with OpenShift and containerized application operation
- experience with Java EE application servers, especially Red Hat JBoss EAP
- experience with Angular
- experience with Dynatrace
- experience with other testing tools like JaCoCo, FitNesse, Selenium, Gherkin, or Cucumber
- experience in investment funds, settlement, custody, securities, or regulatory reporting
