development of complex transformations in SQL or Python for calculating key metrics
maintaining the data catalog, ensuring easy orientation for all teams
designing and refactoring the data catalog according to current needs and architecture
validation of results and code review for other team members
preparation of data models and definition of metrics for the GoodData BI tool
creation of basic dashboards and reports in GoodData
maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data is up-to-date
writing transformed data back to applications
active participation in Scrum ceremonies and improvement of team processes

Requirements

at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
ability to prepare complex transformations using SQL and Python
experience with some BI tool (ideally GoodData)
analytical thinking, desire to learn and constantly develop
experience with data architecture or data modeling
technological knowledge and experience: Snowflake, Keboola, SQL, Python, AWS, GoodData, Visual Studio Code and DataGrip
advanced knowledge of the English language, min. at B2 level
strong communication skills to work effectively with other teams
the ability to work in a team, but also to solve problems independently
experience with agile methodologies, ideally Scrum
interest in e-commerce and the ability to understand its specifics
high level of organization and project management
flexibility and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
willingness and ability to share knowledge and skills with other team members
