Offer description
- linking knowledge of manufacturing controlling with SAP CO and designing solutions that enable customers to correctly manage production costs, costing, and profitability
- designing solutions for product costing, inventory valuation, and monitoring of manufacturing costs in the environment of complex SAP ERP projects
- linking controlling with production, logistics, and finance across SAP PP, MM, SD, and FI areas
- setting up planned and standard costing, including material and activity valuation
- planning and monitoring cost centers and profitability
- analyzing customer needs and their controlling and reporting processes
- finding suitable SAP solutions with regard to cost management and customer requirements
- communicating with customers and explaining economic contexts to stakeholders outside the finance area
- collaboration with other SAP consultants and specialists across ERP, ABAP, BI, UX, and Fiori areas
- traveling to customers within the Czech Republic, or abroad
- work in a hybrid setup with a 3-day onsite in Prague and 2-day remote ratio
Requirements
- at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing controlling, cost accounting, or product costing
- practical knowledge of product costing, inventory valuation, work in progress, and variance analysis
- practical experience with SAP CO at least at the key user level
- good understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on costs
- advanced knowledge of English and willingness to travel to customers
- advanced practical experience with:
- manufacturing controlling and cost accounting
- product and standard costing
- inventory valuation and work in progress
- analysis of manufacturing costs and variances
- SAP CO in a manufacturing company environment
- working with financial and controlling data
- experience with:
- analytical problem-solving and identifying connections in data
- communicating economic topics to customers and non-financial stakeholders
- teamwork and customer-oriented communication
- independently finding solutions and acquiring new areas
- meticulous and responsible work with data
- advantageous:
- university degree in economics, finance, or accounting
- university degree in industrial engineering
- experience with SAP S/4HANA
- experience with Material Ledger
- experience with SAP CO-PA
- knowledge of SAP PP or SAP MM
- experience with SAP implementation project
- experience directly in a manufacturing company
